You stood so heroic, your spacesuit sealed tight,
Your laser-beam weapon a trick of the light.
You told us our spaceship was now commandeered
For a purpose more urgent and large.
You claimed that the cosmos youre destined to save.
You said its your right, since youre noble and brave,
To hijack the ship onto which you had barged,
And asked us who here was in charge.
Well, were all in the hands of the Claw.
Before It no mortal can hide.
No matter your strengths or your flaws,
The will of the Claw shall decide.
Its chosen who goes and who stays,
Throughout all of time and throughout all of space.
It carries the chosen to some better place,
Cradled safe in the grasp of the Claw, of the Claw.
Were all in the hands of the Claw.
Were just three-eyed green men, huddled close on the ground,
Each praying that hell be the next to be found.
You neednt find It, but It may just find you,
And take you to where you belong.
Just avoid any movement, outside a small range.
Have faith in its choice, for its choice will not change.
You will know when you feel it, so gentle and strong,
That it had you in mind all along.
For were all...
Now behold its appearance, all gleaming and cold.
Its purposeful movements, precise and controlled.
No second thoughts halt its relentless descent.
No flicker of roll, pitch, or yaw.
So you two unbelievers must not interfere.
I am bound for the Outside, by all I hold dear.
If you think to do other than cower in awe,
You must stop in the name of the Claw.
For were all...
...So farewell, for Im bound for a far better place,
Cradled safe in the grasp of the Claw, of the Claw.
May you all find the grasp of the Claw.
